PRESS RELEASE
September 26, 2003
Stockholm, Sweden
MobileWizardry announces Fidelity - a PalmOS® static library specifically designed to bring digital sounds effects and music playback within applications; especially entertainment titles. It supports MIDI music playback and sampled audio on a large majority of PalmOS® devices - including the soon to be released Tapwave Zodiac.

Aaron Ardiri, co-founder of MobileWizardry says:

With the rise of entertainment on handheld devices - there is an increasing demand for higher quality applications; and a lacking area of expertise available is digital sound and music.

Fidelity has been used internally for over two years within our development group. Its has been most publically visible within the Lemmings game designed specifically for PalmOS® devices; which has received constant appraisals within the user community.

We packaged Fidelity in a form which will allow other developers to take advantage of this enhanced audio experience within their applications. I personally demonstrated/announced the engine at the PalmSource Europe event in Munich, and developers showed definate interest. With the launch of the Tapwave Zodiac soon - large entertainment titles are not far away.

Interested parties who wish to obtain more information on the Fidelity audio library should contact Mobile Wizardry with licensing enquiries and request further information. A demonstration application showing is available, showing high quality music and samples from the award winning real time strategy game WarCraft II by Blizzard Entertainment on the Fidelity product page.

MobileWizardry is a group of developers, derived from ardiri.com, who specialize in creating entertainment titles for handheld devices.
